the Kingston based franchise of the New York based East Japanese Restaurant. After deciding to open another premiere Japanese restaurant the now fully fledged chef Taka won over new lovers of Japanese food in the heart of the Caribbean. This brilliant chef studied sushi cooking in Tokyo for almost 14 years and then spent another two years in New York and in Miami, preparing him for and how to adequately prepare Japanese food for an international palate.

Japanese food was very different from Chinese, Indian food and Jamaica food recipes, the highly flavored dishes would easily make it a favorite of locals. The essence of Japanese food is sushi and many patrons have acquired the taste; so recipes such as the sashimi, the plain raw fish that is eaten with wasabi a Jamaican spice more spicy than our local scotch bonnet pepper, but when mixed with local soy sauce made in delivers a perfect blend.

Japanese food sold in this restaurant is very creative in the presentation.
