Chief Executive Officer of
Starfish Oils, Keenan Cooke is
now realizing his lifelong dream
of developing a line of Jamaican
products that represented a way
of life that was good for the
body and nourished the soul.
Through its unique collection of
island-inspired aromatherapy
products the Starfish Oils has
been able to evoke the true
spirit of the Caribbean.
Starfish Oils was created out of
a dream to find a way to
intertwine work, love and play
in Jamaican products. Starfish
Oils has created a line of
Caribbean products that have
grown tremendously in popularity
over the years a company which
has a way of life that was good
for the body and nourished the
soul. Starfish Oils was actually
established in 1995 with a
unique collection of
island-inspired aromatherapy
products that was sold at
locations including the major
airport. The products sold by
the Starfish Oils are not
specifically geared to tourists
visiting the capital of Jamaica
but for Kingston Jamaica locals
as well. Within weeks of its
opening Starfish Oils was
selling handmade candles and
oils at local fairs and by 1996
had a very large Kingston
Jamaica customer base and a
growing list of customers.
Starfish Oils moved into their
own "Fragrant Factory" in
Jamaica's capital, Kingston.
Starfish Oils has a dedicated
staff of 19, and a supporting
network of more than 2 dozen
rural and Kingston Jamaica
craftsmen and women specializing
in indigenous packaging of the
Starfish products.
Starfish Oils is bringing
uniquely Caribbean scents and
carefree island vibe to all
corners of the world. Starfish
Oils has
products have been featured on
the pages of Bon Appetite,
Caribbean Travel & Life, and
Panache and are sold at fine
stores throughout Kingston
Jamaica, the Caribbean and the
U.S.A. Devon House
is
their second concept store
developed, and is part of the
Devon Great house attraction.
